Average net profit is considered equal to average EBITDA in Table 10, as Total Operating Expenses ($1,586,506) subtracted from Gross Receipts ($1,764,975) yielded the same amount ($178,469), implying that the total operating expenses exclude interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization. The best guess profit range (low and high) represents the minimum and maximum EBITDA values observed among the 42 individual franchised restaurants for which detailed financial statements are provided across pages 7-9.
